Uranium mining company RU-6 was created as a part of Leninabad Mining and Chemical Combine in the village Chiili (now Shiely) in the Kyzylorda, region of Kazakhstan by the order of the Minister of Medium Mechanical Engineering of the USSR on January 1, 1983.
RU-6 LLP carries out uranium production by the method of in-situ leaching and its primary processing in the North Karamurun and South Karamurun deposits in the Kyzylorda region.
